I get BT Sport and Sky Sports via Virgin so sorted for the footie. The broadband is excellent, never had a problem. Always found customer service is good. If you ring them within 3 months of your contract end and just be honest, ask what deals they can do to help you, they always come up with a competitive price in my experience.
The only downside for me is no Sky Atlantic, but then I probably watch too much tv anyway so no big miss.

Interesting that people recent experience seems to be better than when the service was originally provided

I've had both. Given the choice I'd go with Virgin but I cant get it in my current place.
I found their customer service to be excellent, I'm surprised so many seem to be unhappy with that part of the service.

Virgins internet is great. BT sports for free with most bundles is handy.
Don't think their TV kit is as good as Sky's though.

NOW TV is Sky. Same company.
Virgin broadband is by far the best you can get in the UK.
TV, you get everything Sky offer apart from Sky Atlantic. Never had an issue with virgin, prices are about the same.

NOW TV's phone and broadband does not get good reviews, I personally wouldn't switch to them yet for that. The TV service is fine. Are you wanting to switch to save money or just to get rid of Sky?
I have always found Virgin broadband to be very good. If you are a fan of Sky Atlantic be aware that you will not get this channel if you switch to Virgin. You'll also find that once you add all the packages you want you won't be making a big saving moving to Virgin. You'll find yourself switching every 12 - 18 months once the offer prices expire.

NOW TV are offering a TV services, line rental and fibre broadband for £23 pm.
Anyone got any experiences with them?
We've got Sky+ at the moment on just the standard deal but we don't watch a huge amount and we have kodi box (terrarium) and Netflix.

Never had the telly but I always found myself on the phone to support as the internet was down. Managed a year of regular phone calls before going back to Sky (no phone calls in years).

Terrible customer service but excellent product so less need for good customer service.
Their customer service really is bad though.
I've switched and they fucked up the first 3 dates so it took a month longer than it should have. Once it goes on though, the super fast broadband is not to be sniffed at and the telly is much of a muchness

From a tv point of view I would say.....Negative is no Sky Atlantic. Positive is no picture disruption in heavy rain/storms.
